Пол Андерсон (род. 17 мая 1956 года). Профессор исследования Библии и истории квакеров в университете Джорджа Фокса с 1989 года, в Обществе Библейской Литературы в 2002-2016 годах создал проект по изучению Иисуса, евангелия от Иоанна и Истории. Читал лекции в богословских вузах ЮАР, Йеля, Принстона. Майнца. Редактор серий по интерпретации Библии в издательстве Брило, автор около 200 статей, редактор серии монографий по Иоанну (Випф и Сток), был редактором журнала «Религиозная мысль квакеров» (2000-2011). Много писал для «Хаффингтон Пост». Докторскую защитил в университете Глазго. Диссертация «Христология Четвертого Евангелия» оп. в 1996 году. Андерсон защищает историчность Ио., предполагая, что именно Мк может быть производным от Ио., не наоборот. Этому посвящена и монография «Диалогическая автономия Четвертого Евангелия».
